Requirements
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our high-speed manufacturing machinery. This role is critical to ensuring mechanical reliability and supporting uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on packaging and printing machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and machinery inspections.
Assist in the installation, setup, and alignment of new equipment.
Maintain accurate service records and work in compliance with safety procedures.
Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and production teams to improve machine performance and reliability.
Qualifications and Skills:
Trade qualification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing (packaging or printing preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with gears, pneumatics, bearings, rollers, and conveyors.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and mechanical drawings.
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to work shifts and respond to urgent breakdowns when needed.
